The Protector Mini C/R filter is designed to catch mechanical impurities – rust, fragments, sand and similar foreign particles – from drinking and utility water before it enters the water piping and fittings. Filtration takes place through a screen with a mesh size of 100 µm.
Manual backwash allows the filter to be cleaned without dismantling and without interrupting operation of the rest of the installation. Fine control of the backwash valve directs the captured impurities straight to the drain.
The filter is suitable for cold and hot drinking and utility water; it is not intended for media such as oils, fats, soaps or for removing water-soluble substances. The 1″ connection ensures compatibility with standard plumbing equipment.
The transparent filter body allows visual inspection of screen contamination without the need for tools. Regular backwashing extends cartridge replacement intervals and protects downstream equipment against premature wear.
