The prefilter lid for MBC and MCQ pumps closes off the prefilter basket compartment and allows its easy removal for cleaning and inspection without the need to disconnect the piping or drain the pool. The transparent material allows visual inspection of how full the basket is with debris.
The lid is made of durable transparent plastic with a rubber seal, which ensures watertightness even at the pump’s operating pressure. A cracked or deformed lid causes air to be drawn into the pump and reduces its output.
Replacement is simple – the lid is unscrewed without tools, check the condition of the seal and replace it if necessary. The original replacement part guarantees a correct fit on the prefilter body of the MBC/MCQ series pumps.
