The 90° d40 elbow made of PVC-U PN16 is one of the most widely used fittings in main pool lines. The d40 diameter corresponds to the standard connecting piping between the pump, filtration and built-in components for pools up to 40 m³.
PVC-U material withstands the entire spectrum of pool chemicals, chlorine, UV radiation and operating temperatures. The PN16 pressure class offers a sufficient reserve for working pressures in pool hydraulics of up to approximately 10 bar.
The standard solvent-weld joint with primer and PVC adhesive ensures a permanent and watertight connection. The smooth internal walls of the elbow minimise friction losses during flow, which contributes to lower pump consumption. Complies with the DIN 8063 standard.
