This short insert reducer provides a transition from a 40 mm solvent-weld socket to a 1″ female thread. It is part of the system of PVC-U pressure pipes, fittings and valves, which allows joining by solvent welding as well as by mechanical connections.
The fitting is easy to install and, thanks to the chemical resistance of PVC-U, withstands the conditions in pool plumbing over the long term.
