The socket made of rigid PVC-U is used for a reliable connection of 40 mm diameter pressure pool pipe with a transition to a 1 1/4″ thread. The component is part of a complete system of pressure pipes, fittings and valves whose joints are made either by solvent welding or mechanically.
The PVC-U material is characterised by high chemical resistance and easy installation and handling, which makes it suitable for pipework in pool equipment.
