The PVC gate valve d90 is a shut-off fitting with a sliding wedge, used in pool technological pipework as the main shut-off on the supply or discharge piping.
The diameter of 90 mm corresponds to the main circulation branches of medium-sized and large pools; the gate valve is rated for an operating pressure of PN 10 and temperatures in the range of 0–50 °C.
The PVC-U plastic material eliminates the corrosion problems of metal fittings and is fully resistant to chlorine, algicides and other pool chemicals without the need for surface protection.
The gate valve is installed in both horizontal and vertical positions; for easy operation with the handwheel, we recommend placing it in an accessible part of the technical shaft or in the plant room.
