The PVC-U plug with a 3/4″ BSP female thread is designed to close unused threaded outlets on filters, manifolds or fittings of the pool circuit. The PVC-U material is resistant to water treatment chemicals and requires no surface treatment.
The 3/4″ BSP thread corresponds to the d25 diameter in the PVC piping system and is the most common dimension for connections of medium pool fittings. The plug is screwed into the port and sealed with PTFE tape or thread sealant for permanent watertightness.
The one-piece robust design of the PVC-U plug guarantees the reliability of the joint without the risk of corrosion or material degradation. It is a suitable alternative to metal plugs in environments with aggressive pool chemistry.
