The PVC solvent-weld end cap d140 PN16 is used to permanently seal pipework or fitting sockets with a diameter of 140 mm in a pressure system up to 16 bar. Manufacture from unplasticized PVC-U guarantees chemical resistance to all common additives in pool water.
The d140 dimension is used in the main supply and drain routes of extensive pool installations or industrial water networks. The solvent-weld design ensures a permanent and maintenance-free closure without the need for mechanical seals.
After bonding with PVC adhesive, the fitting permanently closes the pipework and resists internal pressure and chemical stress. Full compatibility with PVC-U accessories of dimension d140 PN16.
