The T-piece is used to split or join two branches of a piping system into a single main line. The 75 mm diameter is typical for the supply piping of larger pools and commercial installations, where the flow exceeds 30 m³/h.
The 2 1/2″ female thread on the branch outlet allows direct connection of a threaded fitting or pump without gluing, which makes later disassembly for service easier. The solvent-welded connection on the straight line then ensures permanent tightness of the main piping.
The PVC-U material resists pool chemicals and temperatures up to 60 °C. The smooth inner surface of the fitting minimizes pressure losses at the branch point. The fitting complies with DIN 8063 and is compatible with standard pool pipes with a diameter of 75 mm.
