The QS pressure gauge is a replacement measuring instrument for QS series filter tanks, where it serves for continuous monitoring of the pressure in the tank. The pressure value on the gauge is the basic indicator of contamination of the filter media and a signal to start backwashing.
The version without a T-piece is intended for direct mounting into a prepared threaded opening on the body of the filter tank. This connection method reduces the number of joints in the pressure circuit and lowers the risk of leaks.
The gauge scale is clearly legible and covers the operating pressure range corresponding to a standard pool filtration system. Regular checking of the pressure gauge extends the service life of both the filter media and the pump.
