The REDOX probe is a precise measuring element for monitoring the oxidation-reduction potential of pool water, which directly indicates the effectiveness of the disinfection. It is designed for ASIN Aqua SALT electrolysers and guarantees reliable measurement results throughout its service life.
The service life of the probe averages around 2 years, while it is significantly affected by the water temperature, its chemical composition and hardness – water that is too soft shortens its life. Proper storage of the probe outside the pool during the off-season using a storage vessel and the appropriate liquid will extend its functionality.
Precise measurement of the redox potential is key for automatic dosing systems, which regulate the production of chlorine or the dosing of disinfectants based on its value. The probe is suitable for private as well as commercial pool installations equipped with an ASIN Aqua control system.
