The reducer d16-1/4 combines in one fitting a glued end for PVC pipe of 16 mm diameter with a 1/4″ BSP female thread for connecting threaded connections.
It finds application wherever it is necessary to connect an instrument or valve with a 1/4″ male thread directly to thin PVC pipe — for example with electronic flow meters, pressure sensors or dosing equipment.
The PVC material guarantees chemical resistance to chlorine, algaecides and other products for the treatment of pool water, while the dimensional accuracy of the fitting ensures tight joints on both ends.
