The Reducing Elbow 45° d50/40/50 PVC PN10 is a special fitting combining a 45° bend with a narrowing of the bore to d40 at the bend, while both ends remain d50. It thus allows a slight change of diameter at the bend without the need for a separate reducer.
Compared to a right-angle elbow, it ensures smoother flow with lower pressure losses, making it suitable for installations where maintaining pump performance matters. The PVC-U material withstands chlorinated water and aggressive pool chemicals throughout the lifetime of the installation.
The solvent-weld sockets on both sides allow a firm and watertight connection to d50 pipework with standard PVC adhesive. Suitable for suction and discharge pipework of pools and counter-current systems.
