The membrane for the CLT 80 mm probe is a consumable part of the amperometric chlorine electrode of the Aseko system. The membrane separates the internal electrolyte of the probe from the pool water and gradually wears out due to the oxidising substances in the environment.
A worn membrane causes inaccurate or no reading of the chlorine concentration, which leads to incorrect disinfection dosing. Regular replacement of the membrane (usually once a year or according to the manufacturer’s instructions) keeps the sensor in an optimally calibrated state.
The original Aseko membrane for the 80 mm CLT probe is precisely dimensioned for this type of electrode and guarantees correct function and compatibility with the ASIN Aqua control unit. Replacement can be carried out without special tools according to the enclosed instructions.
