The Artic d500 sand filter is a pressure filtration device designed for public and commercial pools, where high filtration capacity and reliable continuous operation are key. The tank diameter of 500 mm and a filling of 275 kg of filter sand provide a large filtration area and sufficient capacity to capture impurities even at the maximum flow of 9.5 m³/h.
The robust construction of the Artic filter is designed with regard to daily intensive operation and easy maintenance. Backwashing of the filter is simple and restores its full filtration capacity within a few minutes without the need for specialist intervention.
The filter is compatible with standard multiport valves and can be easily integrated into an existing pool technology circuit. For optimal results we recommend using filter sand with a grain size of 0.4–0.8 mm or alternatively filter glass.
