The seal for the Neptun 300 W underwater light (type 72250) is manufactured to ensure absolute watertightness at the point where the luminaire passes through the pool wall or PP panel. A properly functioning seal is the basic prerequisite for the safe operation of any underwater lighting.
The precise dimensions of 254 × 210 mm at a thickness of 2 mm guarantee perfect adhesion to the mating surfaces of both the light and the pool wall. The seal material is resistant to permanent immersion in chlorinated water and to temperature fluctuations typical of pool operation.
Replacing the seal is always necessary when dismantling the luminaire – for example during servicing or bulb replacement. This is an original spare part guaranteeing the correct passivity and safety of the entire installation.
