The seal of the KARPA connection fitting is an original rubber component that ensures the water-tightness of the threaded joint between the pipework and the body of the KARPA counter-current pump. A damaged or hardened seal causes visible or hidden water leaks that need to be remedied without delay.
Replacing the seal is quick and requires no special tools – simply disconnect the fitting, replace the ring and tighten it back. Using an original KARPA seal guarantees the precise dimension and material compatibility with the fitting of the given diameter and prevents recurring leaks.
The seal is resistant to chlorinated pool water and the pressure common in counter-current installations. This part is available in a clearance sale, so we recommend stocking up for future service repairs. It is compatible with KARPA counter-current pumps from the manufacturer Kripsol.
