The seal measuring 6 × 2 mm made of the highly resistant material Viton is a precise replacement for the screw joints on the housing of the Badu Magic II pump. Viton (FKM) exhibits exceptional chemical resistance to pool chemicals, including chlorine and pH adjustment products.
A cracked or deformed seal causes even small water leaks, which can damage the electrical components of the pump or moisten the surrounding structures. Replacement is quick and economical – the cost of this small part is a fraction of the cost of repairs caused by a leak. We recommend preventive replacement during every general overhaul of the pump.
