The SFT-101 repair tape is a universal self-fusing sealing and insulating tape on a silicone base that forms a firm, waterproof monolithic whole without the use of adhesive. Simply stretch the tape and wrap it around the area to be repaired – the joint seals itself.
The tape can be used on pipes, hoses, cables, fittings and other surfaces in the pool circuit. It withstands water, pressure, UV radiation and a wide range of temperatures. It serves both a sealing and an insulating function, so it is also suitable for protecting electrical connections in a wet environment.
Application is quick and requires no tools or prior surface preparation – the tape can even be applied wet or under pressure in emergency situations. It is a practical aid for any pool equipment, for quick repairs without the need to interrupt operation.
