The short PVC reducer d40-32 PN16 bridges the difference in diameter between d40 and d32 in a single fitting, allowing solvent welding on both sides. It is intended for pressurised piping in pool technology with a working pressure of up to 16 bar.
PVC-U as the base material resists chlorine, alkalis and acids commonly present in pool water. The compact length of the fitting minimises pressure losses at the diameter transition and facilitates installation in tight plant room spaces.
Installation by solvent welding with standard PVC adhesive is straightforward and provides a permanent, hermetically sealed joint. The reducer is compatible with the complete PVC-U set of fittings and pipes in dimensions d32 and d40 PN16.
