The short PVC reducer 400/250 mm of class PN16 provides the transition from the largest pipe diameter of 400 mm to a medium diameter of 250 mm in a single compact fitting. It is used where a high-capacity main line branches into smaller distribution circuits with lower flow.
The significant difference in diameters is technically handled by the robust PVC-U construction, which withstands an operating pressure of up to 16 bar. The cementing ends of the fitting ensure a firm and permanent connection with standard PVC pipes of both dimensions.
This fitting is a typical element of the technical facilities of large water parks and public pools, where bulky main distribution lines feed smaller installation branches. The PVC material is completely corrosion-resistant and chemically durable.
