The short PVC reducer 400/355 mm of class PN16 connects two extremely large pipe diameters in the main distribution lines of water parks and large pool technology systems. The small step in dimension ensures minimal hydraulic resistance at the transition point.
The thick-walled PVC-U design withstands an operating pressure of up to 16 bar as well as the mechanical stresses of handling and installing large fittings. Both cementing ends are precisely shaped for a quality joint with the corresponding PVC pipes.
The d400/355 dimension combination is used exclusively in the largest commercial pool facilities. The PVC material is fully corrosion-resistant, chemically inert to pool treatment products and requires no surface protection, even in an aggressive environment.
