The Short PVC Reducer d50-40 PN16 is used to change the pipe diameter from DN50 to DN40 in a solvent-welded PVC distribution system. Its compact shape keeps the installation length to a minimum and allows easy fitting even in areas with limited space.
The PN16 pressure rating ensures use in pool systems with the standard operating pressure of pumps. The PVC-U material is resistant to all standard pool chemicals.
The reducer is typically applied when connecting additional circuits or transitioning to a smaller diameter at branches of the filtration system.
