The Short Reducer adhesive/female thread d25–1/2 made of PVC-U combines a 25 mm diameter solvent-weld socket with a 1/2″ female thread. It allows a smooth transition from a plastic pipe installation to metal or plastic fittings with a standard 1/2″ male thread.
The PVC-U material is resistant to chlorinated water and aggressive pool preparations. The threaded part is sealed with PTFE tape or silicone thread; the solvent-weld socket is joined with standard PVC adhesive.
The fitting is suitable for connecting ball valves, check valves, sensors or dosing fittings to d25 pipework in a pool or hot tub installation.
