The Short Reducer d40–1 adhesive/female thread PVC-U combines a d40 solvent-weld socket with a 1″ female thread. The 1″ thread corresponds to the standard inlet/outlet fitting of medium pool pumps and filters, so this fitting forms a key transition element between the pipe network and the technology.
The material withstands chlorinated water, oxidants and typical pool chemicals. The d40 solvent-weld socket is joined with standard PVC adhesive; the threaded part is sealed with PTFE tape or silicone thread according to the installation standard.
Suitable for connecting counter-current units, heat pumps or solar panels whose hydraulic connections have a 1″ thread, to a PVC d40 pipe network.
