The Short Reducer d50–1 1/4 adhesive/female thread PVC-U combines a d50 solvent-weld socket with a 1 1/4″ female thread. The 1 1/4″ thread corresponds to the inlet diameter of more powerful pool pumps and filters, so this reducer is an ideal transition from a rigid pipe network to technological equipment.
The PVC-U material is resistant to chlorinated water and aggressive pool chemicals. The smooth d50 solvent-weld socket is joined with standard PVC adhesive for large dimensions; the threaded part is sealed with PTFE tape or silicone thread.
The fitting is a standard part of the hydraulic assembly of a pool plant room when connecting skimmer pumps and medium-class filtration systems.
