The Short Reducer d40–16 PN16 made of PVC-U provides a direct transition from a 40 mm diameter pipe to a 16 mm one in a single fitting. It eliminates the need for two separate reducers and simplifies the hydraulic scheme of the installation.
The fitting is made of PVC-U material resistant to pool chemicals, chlorinated water and typical operating temperatures. The bonding surfaces are precisely machined for a full joint with standard PVC adhesive.
It is used, for example, when connecting flow sensors, injection lances of dosing stations or lines to analytical instruments to the main pipework of a filtration system.
