Silica Sand 0.6–1.2 mm, 25 kg

Silica sand with a 0.6–1.2 mm grain size is intended as filter media for pool sand filters. This coarseness is suitable for filters operating at higher flow rates, where a finer grain size would cause excessive clogging.

The pack contains 25 kg of washed silica sand with a precisely defined grain size, thanks to which the filter retains mechanical impurities, chemical residues and organic particles. A discounted price is available when ordering a full pallet.

Always use sand with the grain size specified by the filter manufacturer – using an incorrect grain size can reduce filtration efficiency or damage the filter vessel. When replacing the media, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the vessel before filling it with new media.
