The six-way valve disc is the central switching element that directs the water flow into the correct circuits during filtration, backwashing, rinsing and pool winterising. The part is designed as a direct replacement for Astral series 20565 and 20569 valves.
The disc is made of durable engineering plastic with an integrated seal that ensures a perfect seal between the individual valve positions. A properly functioning disc eliminates the back-leaks that cause pressure loss in the filtration system.
Replacing the disc is the most common service operation on six-way valves and extends the service life of the entire filtration unit. Installation requires no special tools, ordinary screwdrivers are sufficient.
