Six-Way Valve Lever with Spindle and Friction Washer – Astral 00599

The six-way valve is the control hub of the entire filtration system – it switches between the positions of filtration, backwash, rinse, recirculation, winterizing and closed. The lever with spindle and friction washer is the mechanism by which the operator switches these positions.

The set includes the lever handle, spindle and friction washer corresponding to the original design of the Astral 00599 valve. A worn friction washer causes the lever to slip out of position by itself, which can lead to incorrect filtration function.

Replacement is simple and does not require removing the valve from the piping. It is enough to remove the lever cover, unscrew the spindle and replace the worn parts with new ones. After replacement, verify the correct function in all valve positions.
