The skimmer flange is a sealing and structural element connecting the skimmer body to the pool liner or wall. Cracking or deformation of the flange causes water to leak into the pool’s insulation layer and damages the building structure.
This spare part is precisely shaped for ABS plastic skimmers with the production number 12309. The ABS material resists UV radiation, chlorinated water and freezing cycles, which are the most common cause of old flanges cracking.
Replacing the flange requires lowering the water level below the skimmer level and removing the front face. When installing the new flange, we recommend using pool sealant for PVC/ABS at the contact of the flange with the liner and ensuring even tightening of the screws.
