The socket nipple L/T with a diameter of d20 × 1/2 inch made of PVC-U allows easy connection of a smooth-walled pipe or hose with a diameter of 20 mm to threaded armatures with an external 1/2 inch thread. It is a popular adapter when building pool and pond installations.
The L side (socket) is glued or pushed onto a pipe with a diameter of 20 mm, the T side (thread) is screwed into the armature. The PVC-U material resists chlorinated water, algaecides and disinfection products.
The part is suitable for distribution of cold and slightly warm water up to 60 °C and an operating pressure of up to PN 16. Installation requires no special tools.
