Socket Nipple with Male Thread 40 × 1 1/4″

The socket nipple S/M with male thread d40 × 1 1/4″ serves to transition from smooth PVC pipes of 40 mm diameter to threaded fittings or devices with a 1 1/4 inch female thread. Made of chemically resistant PVC-U suitable for permanent contact with pool water.

The glued socket on the pipe side ensures a permanent and watertight connection, the threaded part is sealed with PTFE tape or hemp. The standard 1 1/4″ size is commonly used in pool pumps, flow meters and shut-off fittings. The part is suitable for both outdoor and indoor installations.
