The 3.55 m diameter solar bubble cover is tailored to medium-sized round above-ground pools. The two-layer LDPE construction with a thickness of 180 mic provides durability during repeated folding and unfolding throughout the season.
The air pockets in the bubbles accumulate heat absorbed from solar radiation and transfer it to the water, while at night they form an insulating layer over the surface. This passive method of heating saves on the cost of electric heating or a heat pump.
The cover can easily be adjusted to the precise dimensions of the pool with scissors. We recommend covering the pool whenever bathing has finished for maximum energy savings and to reduce evaporation of the chemically treated water.
