The solar cover for round pools with a diameter of 3 m is made of a special LDPE bubble film with a thickness of 180 mic. The air bubbles act as a heat insulator and at the same time as lenses concentrating solar radiation onto the water surface.
In sunny weather, the cover can raise the water temperature by several degrees per day, while at the same time significantly reducing overnight heat loss through evaporation. The result is a longer swimming season without the need for supplementary heating.
The diameter of 3 m corresponds to standard small round above-ground pools. The cover is easy to cut to size and store by folding or rolling up. Using a solar cover also reduces the consumption of pool chemicals by limiting evaporation.
