The Thermecro pool solar heating with 48 vacuum tubes uses solar energy to heat the pool water without direct dependence on the air temperature. The vacuum tubes capture solar radiation with high efficiency even in cloudy weather and transfer the heat to the pool water by means of a heat-transfer medium. The 48 tubes provide sufficient thermal output for medium and larger-sized pools. The system works in combination with the pool circulation and a control thermostat. The operating costs are practically zero, and the investment pays for itself compared with electric heating within 2–4 seasons. Installation requires a suitable orientation and slope of the structure for mounting the tubes.
