The spacer ring (position 6) is a precisely manufactured part that, within the assembly of the Elecro G2 heat exchanger, maintains the correct axial distance and position of the internal components.
Without this ring, excessive play, vibrations and premature wear of the gaskets or the heat exchanger’s replaceable inserts could occur.
The material is resistant to the temperatures typical for heating pool water and to the chemical composition of the additives used.
Replacement is always carried out as part of a complete service of the heat exchanger in order to maintain the precise geometry and functionality of the entire assembly.
