Storage Solution for pH and Redox Probes

The storage solution for pH and Redox (Rx) probes is essential for the correct storage of electrodes during downtime – for example when winterising the pool or when replacing a probe with a calibrated spare. The solution prevents the drying out and irreversible dehydration of the electrode’s sensitive membrane.

The procedure is simple: the solution is poured into the supplied plastic cap, which is then fitted onto the tip of the electrode. An electrode stored this way retains its sensitivity, and no lengthy reactivation is needed before further use.

Regular storage of probes in this solution can significantly extend their service life and save the cost of premature replacement. The solution is compatible with both pH and Redox potential probes of the Aseko system.
