The 90° T-piece made of PVC-U with a 40 mm diameter and a branch terminated with a 1¼“ BSP female thread allows the creation of a three-way junction on the main piping of the pool circuit, where it is necessary to branch off to a threaded device without interrupting the flow in the main branch. The fitting corresponds to pressure class PN16.
The d40/1¼“ dimension is suitable for branches to a heat pump, filter head or to a pressure vessel in pool systems with medium flow. The through-running sockets are glued into d40 piping and the threaded branch is sealed with Teflon tape or sealant.
The PVC-U material ensures a long service life even under conditions of chemically aggressive pool water without the need for surface protection. The smooth internal bore of the fitting keeps pressure losses to a minimum and contributes to the overall efficiency of the water circulation.
