The tapping saddle 50 × 1″ is a pipe fitting designed for the subsequent installation of a larger threaded outlet on existing PVC pipe of 50 mm diameter. The 1″ (inch) thread ensures sufficient flow for the pumps of dosing stations, air inlet valves or pressure gauges.
The part made of chemically resistant PVC-U can be safely fitted into pipes in direct contact with chlorinated or disinfected pool water. The shape of the saddle prevents twisting during installation and guarantees the precise position of the drilled hole.
Tapping saddles are an ideal solution for modernising an existing pool circuit without the need for expensive reconstruction work on the piping system.
