The tee d40-1¼” made of PVC-U material forms a connection node where the through pipe run DN40 branches off to a threaded device with a 1¼” connection, for example a pressure gauge, check valve or dosing pump.
The combination of a glued run and a 1¼” BSP male thread on the branch ensures a flexible installation — the pipe run remains permanent while the threaded connection allows easy replacement or servicing of the branched device.
PVC-U as a material is the standard for pool pipework systems across Europe, complies with the relevant standards for pressure parts and requires no anti-corrosion protection throughout its entire service life.
