The transition socket nipple PVC d50/40×1 1/2″ connects a reduced socket for DN50 and DN40 pipes with a 1 1/2″ BSP male thread. This special fitting solves the transition from various pipe diameters to a standard threaded outlet.
PVC-U as a material is proven in the long-term operation of pool systems – it does not corrode, does not deform and resists the acids and alkalis that occur in pool water.
The fitting is suitable when connecting pumps or filters into an existing pool installation, where the diameter of the supply pipe does not match the standard dimension of the given device.
