The PVC-U glue/female-thread union with a 40 mm diameter and a 1¼” BSP thread is a fitting designed for the transition from a PVC piping system to the threaded connection of pumps, filters or other pool devices. It belongs to the PN16 pressure class.
The 40 mm diameter corresponds to the discharge piping of medium pool pumps, while the 1¼” thread is standardly found on ports of pool filters and counter-current units. The combination of gluing and thread allows connection without the need for additional adapters or reducing fittings.
The PVC-U material ensures durability even under conditions with a higher concentration of disinfecting agents. The union is easily detachable, so in the event of a device failure, repair or replacement can be quickly accessed.
