The PVC-U union in the glue/male-thread version with a diameter of 20 mm and a 1/2″ BSP thread serves to connect PVC piping to fittings or devices with a female thread. It is a detachable union of the PN16 pressure class suitable for pool chemical dosing and metering circuits.
The 1/2″ male thread allows direct screwing into motion bushings, diaphragm pumps or water quality sensors. The glue socket creates a permanent and firm connection with d20 plastic piping using standard PVC adhesive.
The compact fitting takes up minimal space in the pool technical room, while the detachable design of the union allows replacement of the connected device without the need to demolish the pipe run. The material resists chlorine as well as ozonation.
