Upper part of the QS 600 filter vessel

The upper part of the QS 600 filter vessel is a composite component forming the top closure of the pressure filter vessel with a diameter of 600 mm. The part carries the central opening for mounting a six-way valve and the inlets for a pressure gauge or air release.

Cracking of the upper part or a damaged threaded part for the valve are reasons for its replacement. The original spare part is made of the same material as the entire vessel and meets identical pressure parameters.

Correct installation requires the use of a new flange joint seal and compliance with the manufacturer’s installation procedure. After replacement, a pressure test is essential before putting the filtration into operation.
