The butterfly valve d160 in a wafer design is intended for installation between two flanges of large-diameter piping, where a traditional gate valve or ball valve takes up too much space. Thanks to low pressure losses in the fully open position, it does not unnecessarily burden the pump or the rest of the technology.
The valve is operated by a lever handle or a servo drive, which can be retrofitted for automated control of pool technology operation. The seal is designed to resist pool chemicals and chlorinated water.
The fitting is used especially in technologically more demanding facilities – overflow pools, public swimming pools or larger private installations, where large pipe diameters are needed with minimal installation built-in lengths.
