The VA winter expansion float absorbs the pressure created by the expansion of ice, thereby preventing damage to the pool during the winter period. The floats are joined together in the pool to the required length, and their placement should divide the surface of the water as evenly as possible so that they effectively absorb the expansion of ice. In rectangular pools they are placed diagonally, and in round and oval pools through the centre. The float is weighted with a concrete weight (not sand). The product is made in the EU to the highest quality.
