The MS clamping roller is an original spare part for the clamp connection of the QS filter tank. Unlike the threaded M8 roller, the MS roller serves as a counterpart in the clamp assembly – together they ensure even transfer of the clamping force around the entire circumference of the clamp for safe closing of the tank.
The roller material is resistant to moisture, pool chemicals and mechanical wear caused by repeated tightening and loosening of the clamp during regular servicing of the filter tank. The dimensions correspond to the original manufacturer’s specifications and allow a direct replacement without the need for any modifications.
A damaged or deformed roller can cause uneven tightening of the clamp and subsequent water leakage from the filter tank. When replacing one roller, we recommend checking the condition of the entire clamp assembly including the bolt, nuts and the lid O-ring, and replacing the whole set at once if necessary.
