FiCarb B – Activated Carbon from Black Coal, Grain Size 0.6–2.4 mm

FiCarb B is a granulated activated carbon made from black coal with a grain size of 0.6–2.4 mm designed for the adsorption of organic impurities, odour and undesirable taste from water. Thanks to its highly developed internal surface structure, the activated carbon effectively captures chloramines, pesticides and other micro-pollutants. It is suitable for the treatment of drinking water, water in aquaristics, beverage production and industrial filtration. In pool operation it serves as a supplement to sand filtration or as a special activated carbon filling for the removal of residual chemicals. Protecting ion-exchange resins from organic contamination extends their service life and reduces operating costs.
