The PVC L union combining d50 mm gluing and a 2″ male thread is a hydraulic fitting for changing the direction of the pipe run by 90° while transitioning from a glued PVC pipe to a threaded connection of a fitting or device. A compact and reliable solution for pool installations.
The PVC-U material is certified for conveying treated pool water and resists chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, acids and bases commonly used in pool chemistry. The glued side of the fitting is connected to a d50 mm PVC pipe with standard PVC adhesive, the threaded side to a fitting or device with a 2″ male thread.
The fitting is part of an extensive system of PVC fittings and enables the construction of reliable and chemically resistant pool water pipework. Suitable for new installations as well as repairs of existing pipework in the plant room of a pool or hot tub.
